A series of masks based on a modern re-imagining of the Karasu-tengu of Japanese lore. The masks were incorporated into a live improvisational show at the underground experimental space known as Zart in Yokohama, Japan.
The masks were also exhibited at LAUNCH PAD GALLERY in April 2018 where guests were encouraged to try on the masks and take polaroids which were displayed along with the masks.
This encaustic painting series was created in Koganecho, Japan in 2016-17. This series focuses on the search for clarity in a chaotic world. It has been exhibited twice. Once in the Made in Koganecho Vol. 3 exhibition in March 2017 and once at LAUNCH PAD GALLERY in May 2017.
